My mother-in-law is currently in hospice care at this facility. It is the epitome of unprofessionalism, neglect, and a dystopian nightmare. The nurses are obnoxiously loud, quite literally yelling when they enter a room. There is an angle grinder running as there is construction underway. There was no soap in the bathroom. The food is inedible. The staffing is often put out if you have simple requests (for example soap in the bathroom). This place should be closed down. We are moving mom as soon as humanly possible. If you have any other options than this facility, I implore you to research them and find an alternative. Disgusting and unacceptable in every measurable attribute of healthcare. You should all be ashamed of yourselves

My step-dad has been a patient at Winkler Court for 5 months. The staff there takes good care of him and addresses his issues with patience and compassion. He suffers from dementia, incontinence, and severe immobility. About a month ago, there was an unfortunate incident involving his missing wedding ring. I am convinced that an outside vendor company was responsible, NOT the Winkler Court staff. I was extremely upset! The administrative staff conducted an in-house investigation as well as contacting the vendor that took his x-rays on the day the ring went missing, but it was never recovered. A meeting with Tarek Zidi, the Administrator, was called to discuss the situation. Even though Winkler Court claims no responsibility for patients' valuables, Tarek took it upon himself to offer me a significant amount of HIS OWN money as a gesture of good will. He was genuinely upset that this happened. Tarek demonstrated the kind of compassionate leadership that should be acknowledged and celebrated.

If you love your family member, do not bring them here. My nana’s stay at this facility was one of the most disturbing experiences our family has ever gone through. What was promised by the admissions director at the hospital was not delivered — not even close. The building smelled strongly of urine. It was dirty. Furniture and equipment were broken or run down. It was painfully obvious there were not enough staff members to properly care for residents. There were a couple great nurses, Tracey was amazing. She fell out of bed. She was dressed in another resident’s clothes. She waited 24 hours for her medications because staff hadn’t processed her orders. The food was so bad it was barely edible. When we tried to get her out, it took five days to complete a discharge because no one was helpful in getting paperwork to the new facility. We felt trapped while our loved one was suffering. This place was not just disappointing — it felt unsafe. What we witnessed was a lack of dignity, lack of urgency, and lack of basic care. If you want peace of mind for your loved one, look elsewhere. If you want your worst fears about assisted living to come true, this is the place.

Recently my husband spent 2 and 1/2 months recovering from surgery and going through physical rehab at Winkler Court. At first I was overwhelmed because I had never dealt with a nursing home/rehab facility before. As my husband began to improve I could see that the incredible care of the physical rehab team, led by Julie, was making a huge improvement in my husband’s life and health. He was not expected to recover and yet, 2 and 1/2 months later he was able to walk (slowly) out and return home. I would like to thank the entire physical rehab, nursing and front office staff for their daily help and guidance during this difficult time. In addition I would like to thank the medical director Dr. Aponte for his encouragement, belief, and skill. My husband and I have returned to Winkler Court to thank the staff and visit the people who made his life possible again. Thank you to the entire staff for helping us through his recovery.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Winkler Court provides outstanding care and compassion. The staff go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable, safe, and truly cared for. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, and the team is always attentive to both residents and families. Their dedication and kindness make a difficult time so much easier. I am very grateful for the excellent service and support they provide. Highly recommend!
