My dad was here for several months. I don't feel he got the care and respect he deserved. And the smell? Smelled like poop and pee. Maybe it was just in the area he was in, but Everytime I visited that's what I smelled. Most of the time the staff was non existent especially on nights and weekends. If you place a loved one here, get a camera. Not that they treated him any better when there was a camera, but at least you will have video evidence. Double dose my dad, mad cause he would push his call light. Your job is to take care of sick people. Not sure why you would expect any different when this is the job you signed up for.<br><br>There were a few staff members that were great and they were great with my father. They are dearly missed and I appreciate what those few staff members did for my dad.

My experience at Phoenix of Fairlawn was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived until the day I was discharged, I received outstanding care and support from every member of the team.<br><br>The food was excellent, the therapy services were amazing, and the staff played a huge role in my recovery. Everyone was incredibly kind, supportive, professional, and genuinely cared about my well-being throughout my entire stay. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, encouraged, and cared for every step of the way.<br><br>The therapy team did a fantastic job helping me regain my strength and confidence, and I am truly grateful for all of their hard work and dedication. Every department worked together seamlessly to provide the best possible experience.<br><br>I will truly miss the wonderful people at Phoenix of Fairlawn. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of rehabilitation or skilled nursing care. My stay was perfect from top to bottom, and I am extremely thankful for the exceptional care I received.

I am new to the facility and I can’t say enough about presentation when you walk in. It’s like walking into a 5 star Hotel. On top of that everyone is always smiling and the staff, administration and owners really care about the patients here. I’ve been multiple places where this isn’t the case and I’m so impressed. Helping the community and finding a quality place for them is what Phoenix of Fairlawn is about. Come visit and see for yourself!

Staffing at night keeps your loved ones knocked out so they dont have to deal with them. I need a zero star but they dont give that option

Well to start off by saying you always want the best for your loved one in any situation especially when they are on hospice care in a nursing home facility. This facility was a facility that we chose because we have family working there so you would think the care would be somewhat better than other facilities. Well what we thought was acceptable care was not the care that was given in return, our main issues with the facility and the time it takes to respond to the call button when pushed, our family member would pushed the button and in some instances not get a response for up to an hour at a time. Now mind you our family member is in this facility for terminal cancer/end of life pain medication was essential to have and when it's scheduled they would take their time to get the meds. Also the medication was mismanaged at times more times than we can think of, one instances he was double dosed on his narcotics and they tried to lie about it. We are fairly sure they were keeping him sedated after that so he would not be an issue to the aides and nurses because he would sleep for really long periods of times. Now mind you we had a Ring Camera set up in the room and they all know the staff knew that this was all being recorded 24/7 but this didn't matter this is how we found out about the double dose and the subsequent lie. So if you are planning on sending your loved ones to this facility please do your research and see if there is any reason or reasons you may not want to, we are really ready to seek legal action on this for elder abuse, as we have already completed a state report on them, just waiting on the investigation to be completed. Again do your research people it will be well worth it and always please use your technology use a camera in the room, it's your right.
