We were doing short-term care. We have used the Willows three times in the last year and a half. The first time we actually had meetings with on call dr and staff. Putting everyone on the same page. But the truth is, I still had to call almost every day and talk to several different people to get them to follow through on things like pain medicine. My mother-in-law Would request In the middle of the night and the nurse would come in angry (this happened on several occasions) and did not give her her medication. She was allowed to have the medication so there was no reason for her to not give it to her This last visit was the worst-She was on a heart, healthy diet and gained 30 pounds the wounds on her leg legs look like sores. They were not being treated twice a day like they were supposed to be. We asked them repeatedly to wrap her legs every day because she had significant water weight. They would do it for about a day or two, and then that was it She came out of this nursing home in way worse shape. Her arch had fallen on her foot gaining 30 pounds already needing a hip replacement was not the answer. Honestly, the only reason we used this place was because it was close to her family. We could see her more often. Not worth it. Each experience got worse and worse. I would not recommend this place. Oh and the food was not good to boot.
