It doesn't matter how often the name changes or how they "try" to "clean it up." To the people that actually grew up and live here full time, it will always be Nassau trailer park. I mean that in every sense of the word. The roads are tight to maneuver if there is another vehicle coming the other way. You also need to watch out for children who step out in front of you and / or try to cut you off with their bikes and all sorts of other nonsense. Some places had trash piled up and ripped screens, which made me wonder if anyone actually lives there. The management staff or manager, whoever he was, came off very egotistical, almost tyrannical, about who he allows to buy and sell their homes inside the park. My advice would be to use caution. Everyone at any time can have a bad day, but this was over the top attitude even for me.

Nice community, quiet. People seem to keep to themselves. Mostly year round residence. Close to the beach and shopping and restaurants. Many of the trailers are older, this is a no frills place and nothing fancy going on which is actually refreshing. Most properties are kept nice.

I have had my home since 2008 and have lived here full time since 2011. Comparing the ground rent of Whispering Pines to that of many other places, WP's is much lower. Yes, the rent does go up approximately $10-$20 a year... however, increased prices are an unfortunate consequence of life. The person who bought the land was a genius. It appears that while the land is being rented, the responsibility of everything (minus lawn mowing) is the responsibility of the homeowner. The pool is excellent and the office staff are professional and welcoming.

We've had a summer home here since 2001. Actually upgraded in 2013 to a bigger house. Love the location and the pool is a major bonus. I'm not sure how many people live here full time or part time but I feel safe on the streets I've lived on. Company has made major improvements by adding new homes.

I love living here. My neighbors are sweet, and the trailer is nice and very affordable. I love that I'm so close to Lewes and Rehoboth. The only issue I may have is the people coming and going in there cars late night blasting music. Not much the office can do about that though...
