This place is like an answer to prayers. Finally found a home that cares about all aspects of life for my loved one. New administration since about 2022 has made this a nice home where concerns are addressed quickly and staff is like family. The administrator is serious about making this a great place to live and work. They CARE about the residents. They are a small town facility with a can-do attitude. The activities director is phenomenal. I mean a truly creative, bright individual with a huge heart where obstacles are like a puzzle. Even the maintenance person is a bright star and so kind with such a great attitude. So blessed to have found this wonderful place. Leaders make a place or break a place and they’ve got some great leaders. I’ve dealt with other places and I’m so, so thankful for REAL people with big hearts caring for my loved one and have been told many times “Thank You for finding this place! These are my friends that are like family!”

We recently had my mother stay at Wellsprings of Westmoreland for a Respite Care stay of 2 weeks. I found out that Wellsprings is under new management and I am speechless of the extraordinary care she received from all the staff there. I did not think there were care facilities still out there that had this kind of love and compassion. I was able to spend about 2 hours a day and visit my mom during her stay. She has Alzheimer's and this can be a very challenging disease for the staff taking care of her. The entire staff from the kitchen to the caretakers to maintenance personal (who got moms TV hooked up immediately) were like family! I cannot say enough good things about moms experience there. When we need these services again, we will only go to Wellsprings of Westmoreland. Keep doing what you are doing!!! You guys are AWESOME!!!

It has been my dad's home since January 2022. He says the food is really good. Thanks to the nurses there that care for him and listen and laugh at his jokes. Thanks to the office personnel who are quick to answer any questions that we as a family have with his care. His biggest complaint is that they are sometimes short-staffed, just like so many places are now, and he gets impatient at times waiting for them to answer his call/buzzer. I have no doubt that should there be an emergency that he will get quick care and we will be notified immediately. My mother was also there as she battled cancer and dementia in her last 5 months of her life. The crew in the memory ward were so good to her and they were quick to let us know when she fell or had issues. And, in her last days they were quick to alert us to her failing health so we could be there with her. She was not an easy resident for any of them, but they all handled her with grace & dignity. I thank them all.

The Wellsprings staff was very attentive of me in regard to my Dad who was a resident. Phone calls were always taken and questions were always promptly answered. I appreciated this very much. Staff was caring towards my Dad's individual needs and were adaptive and truly had his dignity in mind at all times. I highly recommend Wellsprings of Westmoreland.
