Westward Heights Care Center

Westward Heights Care Center is a skilled nursing facility in Lander, Wyoming, offering long-term care, rehabilitation, respite care, and hospice services. The locally owned, non-profit facility is directed by a volunteer board of local citizens and managed by Vetter Senior Living.

The center accommodates up to 60 individuals and provides after-hospital rehabilitation, short-term respite care, and outpatient therapy services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.

Lander is a community of 6,500 people nestled against the Wind River Mountains on the banks of the Popo Agie River, serving as the gateway to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons. Westward Heights is located on the south side of town just off Highway 287, across the highway from the post office and the Best Western Hotel.

The facility has received National Quality Awards, including Silver and Bronze recognition throughout the years.
