Mountain Vista Retirement Residence is an independent living community in Lander, Wyoming, designed for residents age 55 and older who seek an active lifestyle without home maintenance responsibilities. The community offers private apartments with individual patios and garages, combined with meals, wellness programs, and social opportunities.

Residents receive evening meal service prepared by Westward Heights Care Center, with nutritionally balanced meals delivered to their apartments. The community maintains all apartments through routine maintenance including appliance repairs, electrical work, plumbing, and housekeeping services such as drape and window washing. Residents are relieved of snow removal and lawn care duties.

The Senior Wellness Program encompasses civic, cultural, social, and recreational activities alongside an exercise room, quarterly in-home podiatrist visits, and information about additional senior services. The community provides a spacious dining room with fully equipped kitchen, a large community patio with grills, a library, recreation room with exercise equipment, and an in-house public notary service.

Each private apartment includes cable TV, and laundry facilities are available at no charge with rollaway cart service. The community features comfortable common spaces designed to encourage resident interaction and an active lifestyle while providing the security of on-call emergency support.
