The care my 90-year old mother received at Waveny after major life saving surgery was nothing less than miraculous. When she arrived, I was certain she would at worst, not survive and at best, require long-term care. However, through the combination of compassionate and gentle nursing and the exceptional talents of the physical and occupational therapists, my mother was able to recapture her baseline functionality and return to her home. My family will always be grateful.

My mother was in Waveny in 2025 recovering from a broken femur. By the second or third day, she was in love. She loved the care, she loved the people, she loved the food. She didn’t want to leave at the end. For someone who doesn’t like to be taken care of, she loved being taken care of by this place. And, on top of her happiness, It was a joy for her children to know that she was happy and in great care

My mom was a hospice patient and received truly exceptional care from the hospice team. Navigating hospice care for a loved one is never easy, but the team showed deep compassion and respect for both of my parents’ needs during such a difficult time. Their support made a meaningful difference for our entire family.
