Our experience with this facility was extremely disappointing. A family member was admitted here with the hope of receiving proper care, but instead her condition worsened during her stay. We repeatedly raised concerns with staff, but many of those concerns were ignored or not taken seriously. Communication was poor, and there seemed to be a lack of resources, attention, and overall care. It was very upsetting to watch a loved one decline while under the supervision of a nursing facility that is supposed to provide support and monitoring. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place to other families.

Took my mom on Dec.3,2025 and requested a release from the Dr because my mom was not been taking care of. She got in fine in the way of talking and got her out on Sunday Dec.5th, 2025 because I noticed that she was talking nonsense and mentioned to the nurse and never got back to me with an answer. I requested 3 times for my mom's medication record and the nurse never provided me with the record. My mom is going through cancer and I don't RECOMMEND ANYONE THAT HAS CANCER TO STAY IN THAT PLACE!!!!

My name is Victoria and I was a patient here for 9 days recovering from knee surgery. I have a 50 year history working as a consultant dietitian in long term care facilities in Northern California and now a short history as a patient. Watsonville nursing center provided me with excellent care in all departments. Nursing, dietary, activities, housekeeping, physical and occupational therapy services were all professional, respectful, and most of all showed great compassion. Thanks to all of the staff!!

Spent 3 and 1/2 months as a victim of a stroke. I went from near vegetable to walking out of the place on my own aided only by a walker. Recieved the finest care, and encouragement the staff is awesome. Today I'm at home taking care of myself. Thank you Watsonville Nursing Center

I was a patient at Watsonville Nursing Center for one and a half years, from 10/16 until 04/18. I received excellent care. The staff were all wonderful and caring, and professional. I found that they even go beyond the call of duty by hosting such things as Candle Light Dinners around the Holidays and Bar-B-Ques, none of which are required for them to do. They would also have celebrations for patient's birthdays with ice cream and cake socials, also not required. The entire nursing staff was great and professional. By contrast, I later spent some time at Windsor in Modesto, following heart surgery, and that place was really horrible. So thank you to everyone at WNC!! I will highly recommend you!
