After four years of caring for our grandmother, we truly cannot thank everyone here enough. From the very beginning, the staff has treated her with genuine kindness, compassion, dignity, and respect. It has always been clear that the residents are their number one priority, and that level of care shines through in everything they do. We recently had a meeting to begin the process of bringing her home, and it reminded us just how incredible this team has been throughout her stay. Every question was answered with patience, every concern was met with understanding, and they have gone above and beyond to ensure she received the best possible care. Knowing that someone you love is safe, comfortable, and truly cared for brings an incredible sense of peace. We are so grateful for the dedication, professionalism, and heartfelt compassion every staff member has shown over these past four years. Thank you for everything you’ve done for our family. We will always be grateful for the exceptional care you’ve provided.

Hello, my name is Teresa. I am currently a patient at Manresa healthcare. I’ve been here for about a week and boy Let me tell you my experience here has been fantastic. I’ve been in other nursing homes. Nothing compares to the cleanliness and the most efficient staff. Also, the food is very good and the therapies here are fantastic so yes, I do recommend this places to anybody that wants to come and recover.

Here at Manresa Healthcare Center (Formerly Valley Convalescent) I’ve had a really good expierence with my rehab here. The therapists actually listen and work with you at a pace that feels right and they explain everything so you know what your working toward. The staff is always patient, respectful, and always willing to help. The place is clean, organized and feels calm, which makes recovery seem less stressful. The meals are very well balanced, and the activities keep residents engaged and the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Manresa Healthcare Center, it’s a place where recovery feels possible, supported and guided every step of the way.

I have been an RN all my adult life and thus tend to be very critical of medical facilities and personnel. My career included 4 years as a U S Navy nurse, with 8 months aboard the hospital ship U S S Haven in Inchon Bay during the Korean War. I was hospitalized recently in March 2026, for RSV with pneumonia after which I was expected to transfer to an acute nursing facility to transition home. The first facility scheduled was unacceptable because of bad reviews, and family research listed Manresa as the #1 choice with good reviews. I was transported to Manresa Healthcare Center on Saturday, 14th March and upon arrival, was very surprised to find the facility clean and fresh with no odor; it felt much like a small hotel. I was greeted and welcomed by the administrator, Michelle Bayuga, and many of the staff. I was interviewed and my needs and preferences reviewed to ensure being recorded correctly. I have now been a patient at Manresa for 12 days and will be having my discharge meeting to prepare for transitioning home in several days. I would be remiss if I did not pass on my observations about my stay here. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. Each and every employee has been cheerful and exceedingly friendly and helpful, along with providing top care. Gwen Ibarra, CNA, was exceptional; Nancy Ventura,CNA, Nancy Reyes,RN; Yadira Ortiz, ADON, LVN; Mayanne Velasco,RN; Pablo R & Braxtin, PTs, Debbie,OT, Ashley, dietician, and Patricia, the housekeeping & laundry lady! All are to be thanked for their kindnesses and care! It seems obvious to me that the administrator, Michelle Bayuga, has selected her staff carefully and has instituted and instilled her caring and priorities! I apologize if I have inadvertently forgotten any of the wonderful staff who attended me! Well done, Manresa! Thank you! Manresa Healthcare Center has undergone a remarkable transformation that truly sets it apart. The improvements are evident from the moment you walk in—there’s a noticeable sense of organization, cleanliness, and genuine care throughout the entire facility since it changed ownership in July of 2025. What stands out most is the staff’s dedication to the residents. Caregivers are attentive, compassionate, and responsive, consistently making sure residents feel comfortable and supported. It’s clear that patient care is a top priority here, and that commitment shows in the day-to-day interactions. The management team deserves special recognition for their hands-on approach. Unlike many facilities, leadership takes a hand on approach by consistently helping staff on the floor. This level of involvement creates a welcoming and reassuring environment for everyone. Michelle, who is the staff administrator, in particular, goes above and beyond as she makes a genuine effort to connect with residents and their families. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure any concerns they may have are addressed. That personal touch makes a meaningful difference and contributes to the center’s warm, community-oriented atmosphere. For anyone searching for a skilled nursing facility for rehabilitation that has the most professional of care, Manresa Healthcare Center is an excellent choice. It’s a place where residents are not just cared for, they're treated as a part of the family.
