They do not have a generator for the Assisted Living building. During power outages the call buttons don’t work and there are no phones in the rooms so there is no way to call a nurse or aide (or 911) if your cell phone dies. Residents on the top and bottom floors are trapped if they can’t do steps. If asked about a generator, the answer is “the other building has one.” This seems like negligence at the least and indifference for the anxiety this causes residents and inconvenience for staff. But there was money for new furniture in the public areas so make sure you look for that!

Seems clean and has good activities. I was going to say I highly recommend it, but I don't like what they do with their medications.
If you order meds through their doctor they actually use a pharmacy from Louisville??
Because some big shot who used to own or have share in Waterford decided to move and open their own pharmacy.
So now they use his pharmacy?? Even though it's so far away and very expensive??
Super shady stuff.

Ashley O'Connell did a great job, explaining the benefits of the admission of my wife. She sold me and I suggest that Waterford Crossing consider her for a Marketing/Sales position. She is a great asset! Also, Hannah at the front office was very impressive. She had an answer for my questions and thought she was probably worth more. Just saying. I am impressed with Waterford Crossing!

My mother-in-law lived here for over three years. We were impressed from day one with the care she received when needed, as well as the activities that were offered each day to enrich the residents’ lives. Communication was timely, and staff was always available when we had questions. I highly recommend Waterford Crossing!
