Visiting our mother this weekend. I just can't believe that no one washes off the filthy siding or repaints the flaky railings on the residents' balconies! I'm sure this wouldn't occur in the more public areas! And then there's the parking lot, which has needed to be repaired and resurfaced for several years! Can't expect to attract new residents in a competitive environment when basic maintenance and upkeep issues like these are neglected. Do better, Waterford! The response I received was probably just an automated one, so I will not be calling the suggested number. In my opinion the elderly residents deserve to have their balconies power-washed once a year for the extra rent they are paying, as well as the metal railings properly primed and painted. There is also moss and mold growing on the surfaces.

Moved my mother out, it was getting to her with all the new rules daily. The maintenance people don’t know much. There were many times water needed to be shut off for the day, and it was nothing to do with the city. So much of the food was going down the garbage disposal, the food was not edible. There is one gentleman that has had large bags of salt delivered, to put out on his patio, to keep the rain from coming in under his patio door, it has been leaking for years. If this was a problem with my parents apartment, no rent would be paid until it’s fixed. Drive around back by the loading doors and you will see it. Again maintenance does nothing. The manage has her hands full, and that head honcho doctor that is to be in charge, is worthless. He has these meetings with the residents, to supposedly to see what they have to say about concerns. Then nothing is done. Lately he said a resident could not leave and go to a doctor appointment. This person had been in the hospital (no nothing to do with covid) Who does he think he is.
