My mother Mary Fahy spent her last 18 months at The Wartburg assistant living Meadowview building. In her lovely room. T4 to say she was happy is an understatement From the nuns and the staff. She was well taking care of. Seeing her on Fridays during happy hour was a treat for all of us. Some residents enjoyed a glass or two of red or white wine. My mother loved sipping on her ginger ale, listening to the live music. No one anticipated she would be there for such a short while, but at the end of her days, the Jansen Hospice Care team made her final days comfortable. Giving my mother a beautiful journey to the other side and also supporting myself and my brother

The charge nurse Tasha with her staff, always maintained a professional manner treating my mother with love and respect. I view Tasha and the nursing staff not only as her caregivers, but they became family to us.
Dora, the evening nurse maintained a professional manner to my mother, no matter what crisis she had to face. Sundowning present itself always in the evening. At times my mother required extra love and attention. With me on the camera in my mother’s room I saw, and heard the most professional voice and the most calming voice coming from
Dora always using her therapeutic communication skills to de-escalate any situation.

Paulette, the Housekeeper of the terrace area went above and beyond, not only washing my mother’s windows, which was definitely not her job description, but physically, taking down curtains to hand wash them so my mother could have a beautiful view of the grounds.

And speaking of the grounds, my mother was a walker walking the beautiful manicured green fields my mother felt like she was back home in Ireland.

Sherisse at the front desk during the day answered on the first ring cheerful and always having answers to our questions

For every meal, my mother sat down with her gang in the beginning was with lovely nuns, and then at the end she sat with her sister. She was always greeted warmly. And as thankful as she was for all that did for her. I saw with my own eyes how the dinning staff watched her eat to ensure she was obtaining adequate nutrition.
The food was unbelievable. Fresh lots of choices and always served in a clean area. Tables where crumbs free and the chairs were so comfortable

My brother and I with her grandchildren would walk into Wartburg and we were always welcomed. The common area was always clean, always bright even on the coldest days. The staff tried everything to ensure the safety of my mom to walk outside to mass and keeping heaters near the front doors so the cold air would not creep in.

This Google review is more like a book. Please read my above words. They are true five stars.

My aunt has been there for over a month now. The staff has been absolutely wonderful and attentive to all her needs I have been there during the day, in the evening and on weekends. From the front gate, Administration and nursing staff all have all gone out of their way to make sure that we are comfortable with her care and that she is happy She is eating more and most importantly, interacting with people. Highly recommend
