Rooms are horribly designed with your TV being 20'+ away and being closer to your roommate than yourself, which is beyond idiotic. Some staff is decent, but other staff there shouldn't be working in the industry. Management doesn't plan accordingly for patients getting the proper equipment needed when being transferred from hospital. Please do not send your loved ones here for rehab and skilled nursing care.

My sister was supposed to start therapy here post spinal fusion. They lied about a private room and the bathroom was so filthy and nasty she had her husband come get her. Now we’re looking for new therapy options. Get your Director of Housekeeping off her cigarette break and get that dump cleaned.

I selected Wadsworth Pointe for my dad's recovery after surgery based on the state rating. I should have toured it first. 1. The first thing we noticed when entering the building was the smell. Urine, I think. The building is dated, and isnt clean. The rooms are small and the furniture in them is beat up. The day he was admitted he told them he needed a different bed. It was too short and leaned to the side. He finally got a different bed the day before he was discharged. My father complained about the food, having to wait on meds, requests for drinks being ignored. They didn't bother to do even the basic things he needed. He was there for 10 days, and I was glad to get him out. The icing on the cake, none of the clothes they packed up and sent home with him were his. I also had to make two calls to get his medications called into the pharmacy after he was discharged. Overall, the two stars I'm giving this place are because he had a couple aids that actually made an effort. Don't send your family there.

I toured the building while looking for placement for my dad, facility was clean, staff was friendly and overall I was pleased with everything offered and all interactions while there. My dad ended up being able to come home straight from the hospital, but I would’ve placed him here without a doubt!

My mother-in-law was sent to Wadsworth Pointe for rehab after a fall& hip/femur surgery. Because of the critical first weeks of recovery being botched by this facility we are still trying to correct what they caused even 3 months later ! She was transferred from the hospital to Wadsworth Pointe on New Year’s Day. We immediately made the drive to get her settled in and check out the facility. We live 2 hours away and only able to be there in person twice a week. But,we were in contact with her by phone several times per day.The room was FILTHY! Dirty beds,dirty floor,stains all over the carpet! The smell of urine! The bathroom was not cleaned! She was left alone in her room not seeing a nurse or aide for hours at a time.She was only assisted to the bathroom twice her entire stay. They left her in an adult diaper not cleaned up for hours. She was made to wear XL adult diaper and she is 130 pounds! They definitely were not holding leaks. We had to hang a sign to bring her soiled laundry home to wash. Even with that a new outfit I had left for her ended up being taken from her room! When asked they said they would go check laundry for it and let me know. We were there for hours and no one returned to let us know. Each time we visited her she would be sitting in a wheelchair with no leg rests attached. Her surgery leg was left hanging with no support. I would lotion her during each visit and noticed a horrible discoloration and swollen baseball sized lump behind the knee. I brought this to the attention of the aides and nurses and nothing was done. Once we had her home we had to take her to the ER. She had a huge blood clot in her surgery leg because of being left with her legs dangling in a wheelchair and lack of movement since no one got her up throughout the day. She also had a sore behind her ear from stiff tubing they use for the oxygen. I brought this to their attention. ointment was applied ONE TIME. During her stay she was only assisted with a shower 2 times! On one shower day they woke her at 11:30 pm and she refused her shower. So they made her sign a paper that she was refusing. Of course an 83 year old is not going to want a shower after being wakened from sleep at 11:30p.m! When she was first admitted we were told she would be there at least 6 weeks for therapy. At 2-1/2 weeks she called and told us she was being released. We drove up to get her (very upset because she was clearly not rehabbed to be released!) They didn’t do a home visit and were going to release her to go home alone where she would have no help and a home that was not accessible for her. When we arrived to get her we were told she couldn’t leave because she had been put on oxygen after her fall and home oxygen hadn’t been set up. This would have been good to know before we drove 2 hours to get her. We knew they were assessing to wean her off oxygen so our assumption was this was successful since they were dismissing her.Many phone calls to Tabitha and most of those went unanswered and unreturned except the day “State was in the building” and we received our first and only helpful phone call. We did finally get the home oxygen arranged to our home. 2 days later we made the drive again to pick her up and bring her to our home. In less than 2 days I had to put together a safe bedroom, get walkers, wheelchair, toilet lift with arm rails, shower chair and the home oxygen set up. She is living with us permanently now getting healthier and finally recovering from the blood clot (which part of went to her lungs)! I honestly believe a few more days there and she would have died. I do have to add that she said there was one male aide who worked the overnight shift I believe, who was very kind and helpful. I guess he had taken care of his own mother also. So I would give him 5 stars personally. An establishment that is meant to either bring people back to health or give them comfort in their last days I have to say this place needs to DO BETTER. These are peoples loved ones you are trusted to care for. Just do better !
