After my grandfather had a stroke my family was confused on what the next step would be. My grandfather just wanted to be home and Vitas was a really smooth process for my family and he was happy to be home and is slowly improving. Vitas has helped him feel comfortable at home and reassured my family that he is in good hands.

My dad was hospitalized and had been in the hospital for over 10 days we made the decision to take him home because he no longer wanted treatment. The vitas nurses and staff were beyond helpful. Leticia explained every step and was able to get my father home before end of day. Kris his nurse was very patient with us to answer all questions we asked. David his CNA provided all the supplies we needed and took care of my dad with so much care. Thank you for everything we really couldn’t do this without your help! The support our family received was a extraordinary given the circumstances and put our family at ease knowing we could count on the wonderful Vitas staff.

We are in search of information, communication, and general care for grandma. Though I would like to think that this is not the case for everyone, this has been our experience for the past week. The last three days have been a struggle to even have someone come out to change the dressing on wounds that leak and are extremely painful for grandma.
