We tried Visiting Angels for a couple of months to help my wheelchair bound father. The organization does their best but it was a revolving door of caregivers. They're short staffed and struggle with retention. Most shifts we were lucky to have covered at all, forget having someone qualified and experienced with the immobility aspect. Typically, we had a caregiver work one shift and never come back because they didn't have the proper training or ability to transfer my dad. Ultimately, too many shifts were going uncovered and I have to hire someone private in addition. That private caregiver discovered wounds and signs of hygiene neglect. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this service. Hiring privately on Care.com gave us much better results.

It's been two weeks since we secured a home health aide for my parents. Andrea is professional, accommodating to their every need and willing to do whatever is asked. Her attentive nature is noticeable for their well being. She's easy to talk to and have pleasant conversations. My family is very pleased with Visiting Angels.
