FAMILIES BEWARE- I won’t mention any names, YET, however, families beware of sending loved ones here as there is a particular aide that preys on the vulnerable male patients. This aide has taken it upon herself to become very friendly during my friends rehab stay asking to exchange numbers. UNPROFESSIONAL. Not to mention, knowing he has an ill wife he cares for! After being discharged she has convinced him to buy dinners, gifts, groceries amongst other things. His children have even asked her to stop and she hasn’t. She has isolated my friend convincing him to change his phone number so his kids would not bother him. His children have called Excel and administration stopped picking up their calls and have ignored these cries for help. I have a lot more to say but I will keep it to this… for now. Don’t send your family here they manipulate vulnerable elderly patients.

This review is regarding the reception area of Excel Care. I have to give a huge shout-out to Isaiah. He is the most pleasant, kind, friendly and patient person. He goes out of his way to help, and Excel care is lucky to have him. It's rare to find someone of his character. He would make a wonderful patient care advocate (not sure of the job titles there). _________________________________________________________________ Regarding the faciality, I read some of the reviews from others. The facility is clean, it doesn't smell, but it might be a little understaffed at times. Compared to other places, I would recommend it. We need to remember that these are hospitals, not five-star resorts.

This place is horrible. Nurses and aides are very overworked. The food is terrible. Plz keep an eye out on what meds they are giving u cause they change them up thank god I check my meds with pill identifier . They leave patients in soiled diapers for 5-6 hrs . Most of the time u have to fight for ur meds or wait hours.they steal things too i brought 2 perfumes here from hospital they were given to me for Christmas gifts the day after I went to Excelcare they were gone I reported it and was told I wasn’t going to b reimbursed for them

Great facility overall. I’ve visited a relative here recently and several times, and the staff have consistently been kind, accommodating, and attentive. There’s a good atmosphere, and many of the caregivers seem genuinely invested in the residents’ well-being. That said, it does seem like they may be losing some of their stronger staff members. A resident mentioned that one aide—known for moving quickly while passing trays—has recently resigned. I remember seeing him in the common area on a few occasions, and what stood out was his calm, steady demeanor. Even when a resident was upset and raising her voice, he remained composed and respectful. Places like this really depend on people who bring that level of patience and professionalism every day. Hopefully, the facility is able to retain more individuals like him, as they make a noticeable difference in the overall quality of care.

The pics posted on their website FAKE!!!I I have pics and videos.. As soon as you walk through the doors the smell of urine hits you. The staff are horrible, I mean ALL.. Their nurses stand in the hallways laughing and joking instead of doing their jobs, med times are changed daily, cold food, dirty laundry laying around my list can go on. The CNA's ignore the call bells, hide in unoccupied rooms. Physical therapy 10 mins. No compassion, no patients, NOTHING. I am a CNA, so I know. The State needs to shut them down. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS THERE.
