My family and I would like to thank Ty, Kelly and the entire staff for sending such wonderful caregivers for my husband, Joe. They helped us keep him home as long as possible. They are very warm and helpful, and go out of their way to make sure the patient has the right caregiver. I highly recommend them.

We have started using Visiting Angels for my father, who has dementia, and have had a great experience so far. We really appreciate the compassionate care from both Hyacinth and Abi. We are grateful for the support with my father’s ADLs, and the patience when navigating my father’s refusals. Their support is giving my mother, the primary caretaker, more freedom and peace of mind to foster her quality of life.

I just wanted to share my family’s wonderful experience with Visiting Angels of Tucker. My 95-year-old father lived in Cobblestone assisted living in the Park Springs facility in Stone Mountain. After my mom passed, we noticed he was having problems with depression and increasing cognitive decline. Sometimes he would accept help and sometimes he would just resist and be rather a challenge. He is a retired physician used to always being in charge and being self-reliant when it comes to health. So we called Visiting Angels looking for a caring companion that could be a friend and assistant while helping him socialize and engage with the world. So we met with Carolyn Easter, co-owner of VA, and her wonderful, organized, and empathetic associate director, Ty Tanner. Carolyn and Ty gathered input from family (there are six adult children spread up and down the East Coast and in South Korea). Carolyn went and met with Dad and then went to work to find just the right fit for a companion. Carolyn has years of experience matching caregivers to clients. She had great sensitivity to finding someone that would help Dad maintain his dignity while at the same time not letting him push people around 😊. Carolyn matched us with Yvette - who was perfect. Yvette became Dad’s assistant and coach. She took him out to lunch and even got him to go to exercise class! We were amazed. Carolyn, Ty, and Yvette are so helpful, professional and very experienced with all kinds of client personalities and the challenges of taking care of a loved one in cognitive decline. And they took care of us too as we all are emotionally dealing with Dad’s decline in different ways ourselves. We really appreciated Carolyn and Ty’s advice and counsel. They are wonderful people, and I would recommend them to anyone trying to care for a loved one as they progress through this journey. Thank you so much Carolyn, Ty, and Yvette. God Bless.

I am a caregiver, who has been with Visiting Angels- Tucker for 2+ years. This review is about Terry Flanagan. Terry works hard to match me up perfectly with the client when she can. She has taken the time to get to know me personally and always gets back to me regarding any issues. We caregivers need Terry. I also want to thank all the long-term staff (Kelley, Sarah, Ty, and others) for their wonderful service to the caregivers and our patients. Thank you, Visiting Angels!

I have been using Visiting Angels for about 5 years now. My Aunt is now 89 years young and because of the wonderful and loving folks at Visiting Angels, I have been able to keep my Aunt in her own home. Brenda, her care giver is one of the most loving and compassionate people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is our friend and now our Family. The owners of this agency met with me personally at her home and I described exactly what I wanted and needed for my Aunt and they sent me a true angel in Brenda. Any time I have any problems and I have had none, but anything at all I needed, they have provided. The care in every way is exceptional. From scheduling and care instructions, they are top notch, NO ONE compares. I can not only highly recommend them, but can only pray that your loved one is getting the kind of care that my beautiful Aunt has received and continues to receive from this truly Angel Agency. I truly am so thankful that I called them that day, my life and my Aunts are so much better for it!!
