All the team with Visiting Angels paid attention to every detail and though my time of care was short due to a faster recovery , they have been great with communication and listening to my needs. The staff (Nakia Robinson and Carrie Faris). I encountered while visiting the facility were very friendly, professional and helpful. They greeted me with a warm greeting and a smile. (Staffing Coordinator), Mrs. Carrie F. (Assisting Administrator), Mr. Procter F. (Owner-Operator), Mrs. Jamie S. (Register Nurse, Nurse Supervisor), and Mrs. Carrie W. (Register Nurse, Nurse Supervisor) value employees' services and hard labor as well as meet the needs of our clients. As in old times, Visiting Angels office team never mind answering the phone to address our needs no matter the hour even on-call after hours as Mrs. Cassie F. has demonstrated alone with Mrs. Nakia R., the Management team and Register Nurses. I am always grateful that Visiting Angels office team keep promises to return calls, follow through with requests, and provide solutions to keep Visiting Angels business running professionally. I applied to work for this agency back in September when I thought I would be moving down here within 2 weeks. I was unable to leave my assignment in Connecticut as originally planned and didn't make it to Richmond until early November. Nakia stayed in touch with me the entire time. I kept her appraised of the situation. She was very understanding and patient. My experience only got better once I joined. Onboarding was straightforward, they offer you a ton of support. They work with all of their staff! They're very understanding that emergencies happen and everyone works together. I haven't seen many places that "do it right" but I'm my humble opinion, this location does it right! Though my experience was short lived with them, it will always be remembered fondly and I'm very grateful to each and every person in the office, including the owner for actually showing how much they care about their caregivers, their clients and everyone involved in the process. There are very few places in the workplace that do right by their employees and I saw how much visiting angels did it first hand. I hope they are around for many many years to come.
