The employee, Claire that came to my mother’s house to do an intake was very kind, patient and professional. The caregiver, Cheyenne, that visited my mom was wonderful and my mom couldn’t wait until her next visit. I would recommend the Visiting Angels to anyone in need of services.

We hired Visiting Angels to spend time and assist Judithe after her physical therapy for a broken right leg just below the hip joint. The "Angels" that came were great. They made sure she was properly clean and dressed. They talked to her about her life and they shared some of theirs with her. I cannot praise them enough for their compassion and caring. Judithe was always happy when the "Angels" were scheduled to come. If you have a loved one but you cannot be with them everyday, please consider hiring these fine "Angels"! They were great!

Taking care of your 85 year old mother is no easy task. Especially when it happens suddenly, along with a cancer diagnosis. I was recommended VA by a close family member who had them take care of her ill husband. Words cannot express my gratitude and praise for having made that call to VA. From the initial consult to the arrival of VA at my mom's house, I knew that I had made the correct decision. I get it now, there are a lot of providers out there that take care of our elderly loved ones. Save yourself some time and research, and just make the call to VA. I want to thank a few of Mom's angels; they truly are a blessing to work with. Karen: Your compassion and kindness towards my mom will never be forgotten. She still talks about you! Geordan: You and my Mom bonded immediately, and she looked forward to your visits! Good luck with your studies. You will make an excellent caregiver. TyRhonda: Although your visits were not as frequent, Mom enjoyed the time she spent with you and your impact with her will not be forgotten. Thanks 🙏 Finally I would like to thank Samantha who works in the office. Mom's schedule was ever changing with Chemo/Radiation. I spoke with Samantha almost daily at times, and not once did she hesitate to revamp my Mom's VA schedule to accommodate the ebb and flow that cancer can bring. Not once did she tell me that VA would be unavailable to handle my last minute requests/changes. This alone folks is reason enough to give them a call. Many blessings and gratitude to you all. You are doing God's work, and it shows in how you treat people.

I started my career as a Visiting Angel over three years ago. For the first time in my professional life (I have been working in long term care facilities and hospitals for over 20 years), I have a healthy balance between work and personal life. Thanks to our office team (especially you Sam, our scheduler) and our large staff of Angels I have been able to secure time off to travel knowing my clients will have access to the support they need in my absence. My employers and office support co-workers truly care about me and treat me as a person verses a dollar sign. Loving the freedom I have now with my Angel wings. Thanks for all your hard work I appreciate Visiting Angels of Peoria!

Visiting Angels it’s a wonderful place to work! You pretty much get to set your own hours and choose your own clients. The staff is very accommodating and always available. It’s very easy to become attached to your clients because one thing about Visiting Angels is the heart behind being a caregiver.
