Heartfelt Appreciation We are well into our second year of using Visiting Angels and I can't say enough about how happy we are with the caregivers we have and the professionalism of the office personnel. We have four caregivers for a total of forty hours per week. Each and every one of them is genuinely caring and sweet, and work to meet our very specific needs. In addition, we have two substitute caregivers available who have job shadowed our primary caregivers in preparation for absences. I also appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of the office staff. They are efficient, easy to work with, to communicate with and always welcoming when I need something. It doesn't go unnoticed that the girls in the office I reach out to are the same ones I spoke to from the first day we hired Visiting Angels. I learned from previous experiences that turnover in the care giving business is a major problem. I am not keen on writing reviews or testimonials, but with the level of appreciation I have for the work done by Visiting Angels, I felt the need.

I am in need of a caregiver ASAP... I reached out to this agency yesterday and was told that someone would return my call as soon as they got off the phone .... That never happened..... On my phone , it shows only my call to Visiting Angels not a return call .... None what so ever til after I wrote this review...... I just qualified for Long Term Care in April . Not long ago , already I have had to fire 2 caregivers ... I really would like to get someone honest and dependable.. that is genuine with their heart in their care . .. I am losing hope that good people still exist..... Just wanting assistance after 2 heart attacks and a stroke. Cancer , degenerate bone decease and ascites , non alcoholic cirrhosis to list a few . Just wanting to live in peace at home and have quality of life back .. you would think agencies would do I all they can to provide help . Atleast return my call . Not lie to me. Ok , this part is to add to my review.. not too long after posting this, I received a call from Visiting Angels they informed me that they do not provide their services to people in need that are on Long Term Care being paid by the State. They need us that are alone and have low income due to our not being able to work , to be responsible for the payment ourselves. I am on low income. Could never afford to pay for this even if I got reimbursed. .. What I am saying is .. Visiting Angels is only in it for the money. It seems to me .. They also asked me to take down this review... Can you believe that ? Honesty means everything. Communication is a must . . I was desperate for help . My son had to move to Texas due to his Aunt being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She has already passed. That quick ... she had 2 special needs children. My son is staying in Texas to care for the precious children.. I am proud of his decision ..This was unexpected. I understand completely. But , honestly, Visiting Angels refused me . That is the bottom line. Long Term Care pays decent . Plus time and a half holidays. $30 plus. Even holidays I did not know about . Visiting Angels wants more. I am disappointed .

This home care agency has been instrumental in caring for my mom over the years. They have been flexible regarding the days and times when care was needed and when we needed to pause for unforeseen reasons. I highly recommend using them to help care for your loved ones.

Visiting Angels is absolutely amazing!!! My dad is declining with dementia in my home and he is well taken care of when I am at work. The staff will do almost anything in the home to support your loved one or even you, as the caretaker. He gets into town, we live 13 miles from town, frequently his normal places where people know him! Go no further, Visiting Angels is amazing. Brenda

I have had Heidi as my main Caregiver from Visiting Angels for the last two years; plus Brenda and Maria on the weekend. I am so pleased with the loving care that they all extend to me. My life has been made so much easier since Visiting Angels is involved in my daily living activities. They keep my home spotless, drive me to my doctor appointments, grocery and clothes shops, cook meals, wash garments, etc. They see what needs to be done without me having to tell them. The Caregivers from Visiting Angels treat me like one of their family and I feel the love and kindnesses they show towards me. I would highly recommend that Organization to anyone who wants a Trustworthy and Loving Person to take care of a loved one.
