Celia's House In Holmes Park

Celia's House In Holmes Park is a hospice facility in Medford, Oregon, dedicated to providing end-of-life palliative care. The facility was opened in April 2018 by Southern Oregon Friends of Hospice and serves individuals and families during the dying process with compassionate, dignified care.

The mission of the organization is to ensure dying individuals and their families receive exceptional care while promoting broader understanding of the benefits of end-of-life palliative care in the community. The facility aims to create an environment where the dying process is transformed into a time of meaningful closure and opportunity for residents, their loved ones, and the caregivers who serve them.

Throughout the day, caregivers and staff engage in meaningful interactions with residents, allowing each person to feel seen and cared for while providing caregivers the opportunity to experience the gratification of offering comfort and kindness. As of January 2025, the facility has served 670 people from diverse backgrounds and income levels.

All beds at Celia's House are subsidized, ensuring that the entire community has access to dignified, quality end-of-life care regardless of financial circumstances.
