We hired Visiting Angels caregivers almost full time for my 90 year old father in his home for three months in Spring 2026 in Kerrville, TX. We were very happy with the care provided by the caregivers- they were professional, kind, helpful, friendly, punctual and capable of taking care of his needs, especially getting around the house with his walker, going to the restroom and the kitchen, etc. We were particularly thankful for the care provided overnight as they watched him while he slept and helped him get to the bathroom. Daniel, Mary, Randy and Ryan are wonderful caregivers. We also appreciated the prompt and professional attention from the Visiting Angels staff who responded quickly to any scheduling requests and questions. Overall we were very pleased with the service provided by Visiting Angels in Kerrville and would highly recommend them.

Good, punctual, accommodating caregivers for basic household assistance, transport, companionship duties, etc. For more hospice-type care, definitely need to provide in-depth training for the caregivers--to boost their confidence and provide better care for clients.

In the first few weeks after starting Visiting Angels I really wasn’t sure we could use this kind of care. It is not easy for me to have another adult in our home and certainly not every day. After the first week I was ready to quit. However my daughter convinced me to keep trying and so we did. And I am so grateful that we did. All of the caregivers that came to help were kind and compassionate with my husband even when his temper flared in frustration at his situation. We had Angels with us right up to the very end. One place I really appreciated their eyes and ears was in one of the local nursing homes where he was briefly. The director of nursing and the aides that worked under her were neglectful, unkind, and inattentive to a very sick patient. They spoke cruelly about him in Spanish in front of him not knowing the both he and the Angel could understand everything they said. We got him out of there as quickly as possible. I would have known nothing about any of this terrible treatment of him if my Angels were not there My experience using this service has been priceless. I am so grateful for the friends who recommended it. Thank you to all my Angels.

Although I only used Visiting Angels for a short period of time. I can only share they have been VERY accommodating. On short notice they have been able to have a caregiver out to sit with my mom. The caregivers have been wonderful. Everyone is different but their focus has been on the well -being of my mother. Her likes and dislikes and her normal routine. Might I add this has all been done while I am trying to work and take care of my mother. Visiting Angels does this as stress free as possible. 24/7 accessible.

My parents both suffer from Alzheimer's and were in an assisted living facility in Kerrville, TX. My father reported one morning that he woke up in the night and my mom was not in the room. Though we couldn't be sure this was true, the assisted living facility did the right thing and contacted my my siblings and I. The facility does not have a memory care option, my parents are both physically healthy, and nighttime temps were below freezing. We couldn't take the risk that Mom might walk out at night and not be missed. Enter Visiting Angels - our saviors! With about four hour's notice, they found someone to come watch outside my parent's room that very evening and for the week following while we made arrangements to move my parents to a facility with a higher level of care. Sound amazing? It was. But here's the kicker - that first night was NEW YEAR'S EVE! Yep, Visiting Angels found someone to take a 12-hour night shift on New Year's Eve with only four hour's notice! As no family members live nearby, what a relief it was to know that someone was there right away to make sure my parents were safe in the evening.
