I had to quickly find help for my dad, initially home health and then ultimately hospice. Visions responded with a consult the day after I called and then were wonderful coming first as home health and then hospice. I was thrilled to note that Dr. Ficklin was a physician that is their hospice doctor as he was already my father's primary care doctor. That fact alone made me pick them as Dr. Ficklin is incredible and wouldn't associate with anyone but the best for his patients. The nurses were compassionate, were careful with my father, knowledgeable and attentive. When we lost dad, they were there immediately to care for the family with a social worker, minister and nurse and took care of us. I felt grateful they were there as they were so kind to our family. Visions employees are nice, but apparently they are understaffed. It took a 4 days to get someone from home health care to come out to the house and that was a physical therapist who came out on a Friday. We reached out to them the next evening for help and the staff didn’t answer until the next morning and said they couldn’t get the prescription we’d need as it was a Sunday.

I had always appreciated the fine care I received, from the nurse's and therapists, during my three surgeries over the past year. Upon my four week follow up my surgeon gave me the option, to continue therapy with Visions, or move on to more advanced therapy. I choose the later as I felt Visions had done all they could. When they called to schedule an appt, I informed the therapist I was finished with visions, and was going to more advanced therapy. Apparently this upset Visions as I have not heard a single word from them in over four weeks. I would have to think hard about recommending them for therapy to anyone else.

For the past 7 weeks I have had to be on a feeding tube and Visions Home Health has come into my home to help me weekly. Nurse Jessica has been so amazing, caring and compassionate!! It has been a wonderful experience during a very scary time! Thank you for your care!!
