PLEASE listen to people and their opinions and reviews, unfortunately I had my mom here at the Greene the Care they gave her was a joke. It doesn’t matter if you are a private payee or on Medicare I truly believe that this facility rushed my moms death with the overdose of medication, I had a camera in my moms room and during her stay at the green not all but there were several employees that treated her bad that I would have to tell them over the camera to get out of my moms room there was several times I had to drive to the facility to care for the mom cause she would be crying out for help and no one would come in and check on her. My mom couldn’t walk so many times she fell out of her bed and cause the staff members didn’t want to deal with her I would drive to take care of her. This facility and staff need to be thoroughly investigated. I’m sure my mom wasn’t the first and won’t be the last.

This place is disgusting. My mother was here and the way they treated her was disgusting. The nurse that was caring for her told us that she was only allowed 3 bowel bags and would have to clean her own bowel bag and reuse it which is totally outrageous. She urinated all over herself numerous times and was left to sit in it for hours . We would ring her call light for assistance and they would take 20 minutes to answer it . She was afraid to sleep in her bed because she was afraid of falling out of her bed which happened 2 times due to neglect of the nurses leaving the side rails down . The room was dirty and when we complained about it they finally came in and half cleaned the room. We had to inquire about her shower schedule because she smelled at times and looked like she hadn't been showered in weeks they're reply was that sometimes she would get combative so they would not shower her . And she had a cut on her knee which became infected and became an open bedsore due to the nurses neglect .The staff at this nursing home are incompetent, rude and shouldn't be working as caregivers they are the most incompetent uncaring. People I have ever seen. This place needs to be shut down I don't even understand how the state hasn't closed them down . Do not put your loved one in this disgusting place if you don't want them abused . In regards to Village at The Green's response. Your generic response isn't going to change my review. The state needs to investigate your facility and fine and hopefully close you down for incompetence and neglect. These people you supposedly care so much about are human beings not animals.

The WORST communication and care I could have imagined. I am out of state and trying to care for my father from afar and they moved my father, with dementia and with no context of what’s happening, to a different location—without communication to any family members. We spent hours going through potential lists of places my father could, EVENTUALLY, and with our consent, be moved to… And he was moved to a location not approved by us, without our knowledge. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. 10 times over
