I’ve tried to find corporate email address or address for the facility to no avail so this will have to do. To the Village of Sherman Oaks, I am issuing this urgent and unequivocal admonition regarding the negligent handling of meal deliveries to my mother during her COVID isolation. For seven days, she has been confined to her home, dependent on these deliveries not only for sustenance but for essential medication that must be taken with food. Despite her timely orders, my mother has been left without her breakfast for two consecutive days, not receiving it until after 1 p.m. This delay is not merely an inconvenience; it jeopardizes her health and recovery. I demand immediate rectification of this lapse and a guarantee that this will never happen again. The well-being of my mother depends on your immediate action.

The Village at Sherman Oaks is truly one of the best communities I've ever been to and worked with. Every interaction with staff and even residents is so pleasant. Jana, Elizabeth, Adriana, Grace, Ruby, Mercedes and the entire team here truly makes everyone feel special and welcome. If you're looking for Independent Living in a warm and welcoming community, this is the place. When it's time for Assisted Living or Memory Care, they have it too. This community really has it all and it's tucked away in a neighborhood too, away from the main street. Couldn't recommend more.

I want to thank and compliment Elizabeth on her thorough and informative tour. Given that it can be an emotionally difficult time negotiating this stage in life, it helped to have Elizabeth and the rest of the staff I encountered be so available and friendly.

The representative was very friendly, answered all my questions, and provided me a packet with detailed information about the facility and programs. We toured the facility, which was clean, bright, and impressive. Had an opportunity to talk to some of the residents prior to the meeting; they had favorable things to say about their experiences. Everyone seemed relaxed and comfortable.

We toured the village at Sherman Oaks in September 2023. Philip was an extremely helpful, compassionate, informative host. He answered every question we had, and helped us get a deeper sense of what life would be like at the village for my mom. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the activity list and menus look terrific. I’m hoping my 88-year-old mom will ultimately decide to join this welcoming community.
