Villa Sorrento is truly one of the best assisted living communities in the heart of Torrance. From the moment I first visited, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The dedicated team—Carla, Carmen, Trish, Angelica, Tess, and many others—works tirelessly to ensure that every resident feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. What sets Villa Sorrento apart is their commitment to personalized care. When a resident requires specialized attention, they go the extra mile to partner with home health care providers who demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and employ highly qualified caregivers. Their priority is always the safety and well-being of their residents, and it shows in everything they do. The workers here are phenomenal. Although the facility and building itself is a bit older, the tremendous care with which the residents are treated is just great. The daily work of feeding, clothing, washing, etc. is second to none! The staff here really know what they are doing. My mother was always clean, happy, and her room was also clean and orderly. They also provide regular entertainment (singers, piano players, etc.) and the residents group together as friends and watch TV and play cards and bingo. The meals are ok and healthy and well-balanced. And to top it off, the cost here is very reasonable and the most reasonable in this area (South Bay/Torrance).
