I can't say enough good things about the team, led by Dree, Director of Social Services, who worked to discharge my husband from Sunnyside Post Acute Care facility. My husband's health improved quickly and we asked to be discharged in a little over a week. My husband has a complicated case and discharge planning and execution could easily take two weeks or more however Dree's team worked quickly and tirelessly to get the job done. I'd like to give a shout out and our heart felt thanks to the team, Dree, Brian, Ale, Charee, Nisha, Maribeth and Cecelia. In addition, we'd like to recognize two of our favorite nurses, Tray and Brenda; the best wound care nurse, Betty, countless CNAs such as Brooklynn, Theresa and Shaquana, and our favorite respiratory therapists, Jose, Lacel, Brandon, Jessica, Tam, Derick, and Korede. We are eternally grateful for their hard work, skill, kindness and dedication to duty. We also want to thank the physical and occupational therapists who poured into my husband's rehabilitation and recovery; without them he wouldn't be able to be discharged.

The good The physical therapists are the best at what they do. Super supportive with patients and family in empowering then to help patients succeed. The bad Nursing staff is not the best. The staff has a reputation as being less than stellar with doctor offices near by. Call lights will go unanswered for extended periods of time. Getting into contact with the physicians is a chore until they want something from you. Overall I can't give them a passing grade. Take your loved ones elsewhere

This is a great place and very clean. The social worker director is fantastic mrs. Dree Williams shows so much care and compassion for the people at this facility. The place is very bright with light and Mr. Mendy is a Jack of all trades even though his job title is AIT. One of the day nurses Mindy seems to be very comfortable with her job in helping people …if you end up taking your loved ones there, you will be happy . Make sure to meet Brian in social services he will never let you down or make you confused about your questions. He makes you feel very comfortable.

If you truly care about your loved ones and their recovery, I suggest you look elsewhere. I cannot stress enough how negligent the staff here was. Rather than improving, my father’s condition only worsened during his stay. He even developed a skin condition from the facility, which we were never informed about. Aside from the lack of communication with our family regarding his health, the facility itself was not up to par hygienically. There were multiple instances where his bed had visible stains, as if the bedding had not been properly changed. His eating table was often left uncleared, creating an unsanitary environment. More concerning, there were times he was not properly cleaned after bowel movements, which is completely unacceptable and speaks to a lack of basic care. Additionally, staff response times were extremely slow. He would press the call button and be left waiting for extended periods. There were many occasions where he called us crying because he felt ignored and unheard. No patient should ever feel that way while under professional care!

First of...all the nurses and staff were very nice and attentive during our Moms stay. She was there due to her hip surgery and to get physical/occupational therapy. But, I wanted to say how super DISAPPOINTED our family is regarding her discharge. The Doctor from the facility knew her condition but I do not know exactly who is in charge of getting the right type of transportation for patients..BUT.... our Mom could not walk due to her surgery and still can't until she progresses from therapy. She is bed ridden..( can't stand, walk etc)..So she was picked up by transport..NO GURNEY, OR WHEELCHAIR OR PEOPLE TO ASSIST HER!!! Just the driver! who's job was just to drive! Luckily one of the nurses lend him a wheelchair which was way to big to fit through our doors and was supposed to be returned but he said it was not his job either. He helped just wheel her out, out of the goodness of his heart because he did say it was not his job. You do not understand how DIFFICULT and CHALLENGING it was for our family to get her to her bedroom, we almost called 911 just to get help. If she was on MEDI-CAL then she would still be there and get the help she still needs but she has HMO.
