We cannot say enough wonderful things about Villa South on Yorktown Boulevard in Corpus Christi. From the very beginning, the staff treated our mother, who was living with dementia, with genuine love, patience, and compassion. It was clear to us every single day that they didn’t just see her as a resident, but as a person who mattered deeply. They took the time to understand her personality, her needs, and even the little things that made her smile. And that smile meant everything to us. The kindness they showed her was constant, whether it was through gentle conversations, attentive care, or simply being present with her in a meaningful way. Knowing she was in such caring and capable hands gave our family an incredible sense of comfort and peace. The staff truly went above and beyond, and we will always be grateful for the love and dignity they gave our mother. Villa South is a place filled with heart, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality care for a loved one.

We moved our mom into the Stepping Stones at Villa South this past year.<br>Since moving her here we have been very happy with what we have experienced. What we have observed is how much mom loves it here. The staff are very compassionate and patient with her. We recognize how well the staff have been trained to help in memory care.<br>The facility is very clean and organized and has a homelike environment for her.<br>The office and staff regularly hold holiday parties and events for residents and their families. We are very pleased with how they keep us up to date on all events. This effort is very appreciated.<br><br>We are happy to have mom her at Villa South. We feel this is the best fit for her and the needs of our loved one are being met.<br>:

My mom lived at Villa South for a little over a year, and our family will always be grateful for the love and kindness she received there. The staff were so caring, patient, and treated her like family from the very beginning. She loved playing bingo and joining in on the activities — it truly brought her joy. Even as her health declined, the caregivers and nurses were amazing right to the very end. They showed so much compassion, not just to my mom but to all of us. Knowing she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared gave us peace and comfort during a difficult time. Villa South will always hold a special place in our hearts for the way they cared for Mom with dignity, warmth, and love.

My mother in law moved into this place earlier this year and unfortunately, she passed away on November 1st. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to care for her during her stay and especially during the last several days she was alive. They took really good care of my mother in law and attended to her (and our) every want and need. Thank you all so much for all you did for my husband and I and especially for my mother in law.
