It has some wonderful employees and some that are not. That’s to be expected. Tried to get saline on his O2 machine since day 3-4. Nurse was excellent on trying but it never happened since the part she ordered never came in. In turn he kept having bloody noses. The Pt and Ot dept the best. Food good he liked it. Place kept clean which is great. All in all it was fine.

The staff are accommodating, helpful, pleasant and professional. The facility has a well groomed look and definitely tidy. It does not have that characteristic smell that often greets people as you walk through the hallways. What I did encounter was several hand sanitation wall devices not having any hand sanitizers in the dispenser. The front door was empty and a few in the corridors were out.

The staff is always very friendly and attentive. Genuinely kind and it is much appreciated, My mother was there for two weeks for rehab after an illness. The healthcare team was very informative and helpful and truly had her best interests at heart.

I do not recommend this place for long term care...they are understaffed and negligent in many areas. My husband was in their care for two months and was discharged and in the ICU the next day with sepsis and pneumonia...he died 4 days later. Please, if you have someone there, keep a very close watch on them. Question everything, make sure the call button is ALWAYS within reach, and undergarments are changed frequently.

Viera Health and Rehab was fantastic during my moms entire stay. She left stronger and more confident. Her blood sugar was under control. Working in a skilled Nursing facility is not easy. Thank you all for your care. I never worried one time about my mom's stay. I knew she was in good hands. Special thank you to Laura the ADON, Nurse Diane, and Physical Therapist Steve. My mom appreciated your support, kindness, and care.
