The workers treated me like family .wish I could name each and everyone but you know who you are and I am so grateful for my excellent care. If I could I would drive back to the facility to see you all. Thank you so very much.

PT was very good and helpful. Most of the staff were good and professional. When I was released I was supposed to have a walker, I finally got the walker six days later after my family did many phone calls. The social worker did not seem to care or follow through with any help. The walker provider was part of the problem.

My 84 year old mother has been here since mid December, and is recovering from spinal fusion surgery. She also has Parkinson’s. I would like to give a shoutout to Kosha and Net, who take really good care of her. Kosha works so hard and goes above and beyond and we appreciate it. She really cares about the residents. Kosha gets 5 stars! The room is kept clean by housekeeping. The therapy department is wonderful. Trina, who runs the front desk is so sweet and always has a smile on her face and a warm greeting. We are also thankful for Abraham who does a wonderful job with transportation to and from outside medical appointments. The reason for the 3 star rating is there is a problem with the overnight changing of her diaper. She isn’t able to get herself to the toilet so unless someone helps her, she has to use the diaper. Almost EVERY morning she and her bedding are soaking wet. There have also been several times while I’m there during the day where the CNA is busy and I’ve had to change her myself, even though other employees are capable and trained to help when necessary, they make no effort. This is not acceptable. There are a lot of wonderful employees there, but some are not helpful at all and make you feel like you are bothering them. They are receiving payment for her care from Medicare and we have to pay $217 per day on top of whatever they are receiving from insurance. That’s $6,700 per month out of pocket. Many improvements need to be made and I have been talking to anyone who will listen since December but it doesn’t really get better. The weekends are the worst, as they are usually understaffed.

There were many helpful concerned people involved with my care. Nurse Rose, CNA Ic, Medical Aide True, Therapists Phillip, Leo, Dennis and others were consistent in their professional concern and helpful attitude. The atmosphere was one of desire to help me recover in caring, friendly surroundings. The doctors and staff were attentive and concerned with my steady recovery and overall well being.
