Training for staff seems to be very bad. You pay all this money to live here just for subpar service. They will try to persuade you to stay here and have a smile on their face, but when you move in it’s another story. Transportation department and dining especially. I’d say run from this place.

I toured Vicar's Landing yesterday with two friends. We did not get a chance to see the Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing areas, but the different layouts of the rooms we saw at both the Sawgrass and the Oak Bridge sides were very nice. It's probably my future home... about 10 years down the road.

We feel so fortunate to have moved to Vicars Landing from CT. It has turned out to be our best decision we ever made. Friends who have visited us think we hit the ball out of the park! Couldn't be happier. Love all the activities & the residents are very friendly.

My parents have lived here for several years. I have been impressed with how they have dealt with the pandemic and threatening hurricanes (bussed residents inland and put up in hotels). My Mom just had surgery and is pleased with the care she is getting in their health center where she is staying for a week to recover. They especially enjoy special holiday meals and events.

My grandfather lived out the last chapter of his life here, and my grandmother is still a resident. They moved into the independent living and phased through the different stages of care. I've been in every inch of this place and have nothing but good things to say. Very caring staff throughout. Extra special people working at the dining hall that serves as the communoty restaurant.
