I'm a veteran and I submitted my information with them because I wanted to volunteer. They told me I would receive an email for the next steps. It's now over 3 weeks and still no email. If they treat me like this, I wonder how they treat their patients.

This facility saved my life. I lived in my van for 2 1/2 years. I came here and was warmly welcomed by residents and staff alike. The living quarters and grounds are spotless. The food is fantastic and so are the volunteers. It is very, very quiet and peaceful. Everything is taken care of by conscientious folks who truly care about you. Most people here are happy and fun loving. The facility is located on a small hill with a constant gentle breeze. I can see México, downtown San Diego, the ocean, and the canyons from my unit’s window. LIFE COULD NOT BE BETTER HERE. .

Both my parents are in this facility and they are not being taken care of correctly! My mother is always needing to be changed. She has had 3 utis in the last 5 months. She is not bathed correctly. My father complains to the aids and they get angry with him. They complain about the food always being served to them cold and not very pleasing.

I have a really good friend that lives here. When I 1st moved in it was hard for him because he was use to being independent. But after settling in he grew to love this place. The place is always clean. The staff is always eager to help. In the food is not that bad

This is a park like setting. Proud to honour our men and women who help protect our freedom. I feel humble when I talk to some of these men who gave so much and have seen there fellow solders and friends give even more. Every time I leave there I feel more proud to be an American and patriotic.
