Deciding to leave a comfortable home and into a different lifestyle was a daunting decision. In retrospect, moving into Versailles was a breeze, and as a new life unfolded, it reminded me in some ways of my joining a fraternity and moving into the house. With seriously wonderful benefits such as superb food by a chef, not a cook; literally everything taken care of by friendly and competent staff; and totally secure living and parking environment with spacious and comfortable units and public spaces making Versailles the top brand possible. There are probably 100 restaurants and many shops, banks, and services of all kinds within a four-five block area. And, SFO is less than 10 minutes away. What makes it special is the sense of community shared by staff and residents.

After living 48 years in our family home, we made the best choice ever of moving into the Versailles Senior Condominiums in San Mateo. The staff, the activities and classes, the meals, the residents and the overall security are what has allowed this to become our forever home. We made an excellent decision!

We researched several senior communities in the area before choosing Versailles and are very happy with our decision to move here in August 2025. The entire staff is wonderful and there has been very little turnover since this building opened in 2008. The meals are wonderful and healthy options are always available. We've enjoyed getting to know the residents and my husband is especially pleased with the number of men in this community compared with other senior communities. We both appreciate all the amenities such as transportation, housecleaning, aqua aerobics, exercise classes.and barbeque grill on the landscaped rooftop

Just have to say the staff is wonderful there, and that they are taking good care of the residents with a cheerful attitude and a great work ethic. The building itself is kept up well, and the new remodeling gives it a more clean and crisp look.
