Valley Senior Living on Cherry -Tufte Manor

Tufte Manor is a Basic Care community in Grand Forks, North Dakota, operated by Valley Senior Living. The community provides assistance with daily activities in a nurturing environment, with services tailored to each resident's individual needs.

Nursing services are available on-site, including help with bathing, dressing, medication management, oxygen management, and incontinence care. All residents are issued a medical alert pendant or wristband and have access to a nurse call button for 24/7 contact with nursing staff in the building. Each room is private and fully furnished, allowing residents to personalize their space with personal belongings or furniture.

Meals are prepared in the Tufte Manor kitchen and served restaurant-style in the dining room three times daily, with choice of entrée at noon and evening meals. Dietary options include general, no added salt, low concentrated sweets, gluten-free, and vegetarian diets. Housekeeping services include weekly light cleaning, bed making, and trash removal. Valley Senior Living coordinates transportation for medical appointments.

Activities and amenities include 4–6 scheduled weekday activities such as BINGO, exercise, and shopping trips. Common areas feature a renovated activities room with computers and full kitchen, a large-screen television for sporting events, a community room for worship services and entertainment, and newly renovated outdoor seating. Residents can receive complimentary haircuts every six weeks and shampooing services weekly.

Valley Senior Living is governed by a Board of Directors representing 23 Lutheran churches across Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, and surrounding areas, with a mission to provide compassionate Christian care. Services are provided at an all-inclusive daily rate, with financial assistance available to those who qualify through North Dakota Medicaid's Basic Care Assistance Program.
