Absolutely nothing good to say. I am currently here and it is terrible. Waiting now for my evening meds after requesting them at 8:30. It is now 10:05 and no meds yet. The place is a joke. But they make that money. Needs to be shut down. Again terrible terrible terrible. I'm here for physical therapy which has not happened after 2 days. They are making that money 🤑

I had a very concerning experience at this facility. I was initially assigned to one hall, and halfway through my med pass I was moved to another unit. When I was moved, I was told I would only be there for about an hour because relief was coming. I agreed to stay for that hour but clearly stated that I do not have experience with ventilator patients and did not feel comfortable with that assignment. While on the vent unit, I got halfway through the med pass and went to find out where my relief was, only to be told that no one was coming after all. When I voiced my concern again and reiterated that I had no vent experience and felt unsafe, my concerns were brushed off and I was told that “sometimes as a nurse you have to take assignments you’re uncomfortable with.” I contacted my agency, and they instructed me to find someone to pass my keys to. I attempted to follow the chain of command listed at the nurses’ station, but no one answered their phones. I ended up being left on that unit for the entire night. At 7:00–7:30 AM, I still had no relief. I called the administrator listed, and she was rude and dismissive, asking why I was calling her despite me following the posted chain of command. I was then told to call the ADON, who also did not answer. Eventually, another nurse from a different unit had to come walk with me so I could leave. This facility demonstrated poor communication, lack of support, and disregard for nurse safety and scope of practice. I will not be returning.

Do NOT recommend. Zero stars if I could. My mother was sent here from Frye 2 and a half weeks ago for rehab. She was supposed to have physical therapy Mon through Friday to work on mobility. Therapy missed multiple days and therapy consisted of sitting her in a wheelchair. Staff refused to assist her in bathroom trips, glorifying a diaper and bed pan (she used neither prior to Valley) One nurse even stating if they were taking too long to respond to her bathroom requests she should utilize her diaper. She was discharged today and my mother couldn't take a single step unassisted. We had to physically carry her up two flights of steps and shes COMPLETELY IMMOBILE. She's actually in worse condition than she was leaving Frye 2 and a half weeks ago. Too many complaints to list. If you love your family member, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE.

I have a couple issues: my mom went 15 hours without any of her medication, and they slapped a diaper on her first thing, so they didn’t have to take time to let her use a bed pan or get her leg brace on so she could use a potty chair. When my mom called and said she hadn’t had any medication, the nurse who had fussed at her earlier in the morning when she had to respond to the call button ( rung several times) that my mom needed to understand that they only had two people on her floor. The nurse who fussed at her then proceeded to lie to me and tell me they were not short handed, I said if you aren’t then why was my mom left in a feces filled diaper and forced to ring the call button several times to get assistance? Do not send your loved ones here. Find another rehab center.

My son Andre is a 33 year old Army Veteran that was involved in a hit and run accident in March of 2024. He was sent to Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Taylorsville,NC for almost 6 months for ventilator weaning.The support and training that I received from the Valley team of professionals on how to care for my son at home is priceless. I am so grateful for everyone that was a part of the A-Team (TEAM ANDRE)taking me under their wing to make sure I was confident in my skills on caring for my son at home. I was trained on everything from ventilator maintenance and trouble shooting, wound care, tube feeding, catheter care,positioning and techniques for keeping him clean and comfortable. We have been in the comfort of our own home now for almost 2 months preparing for the celebration of his 34th birthday this month😅. Everyday our focus is on continuous healing and pampering for our son. I am so grateful and blessed that GOD sent us to the VALLEY💜
