Having worked with seniors for more than 15 years, I am very selective about the care providers I recommend. United Care Home Care has consistently exceeded expectations. Kasey and her wonderful team provide exceptional care, compassion, and support to both seniors and their families. They have been a true blessing to the families I’ve had the privilege of working with, and I highly recommend their service

I was hired by United Care as a per diem employee, with the understanding that I would provide availability for nights and weekends. Shortly after being hired, I was offered a shift about an hour from my location, which I declined due to the distance. Later, I received a call at approximately 3:00 PM asking if I could cover a 4:00 PM call-off shift. At the time, I was returning to California from out of state and explained that it was not possible for me to arrive within one hour, at which point they hung-up on me while I was still speaking. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that my employment was terminated effective immediately, citing that my availability did not align with the agency’s needs and that I had declined multiple shifts. This was confusing, as per diem employment typically involves accepting shifts that align with your stated availability, not being required to accept last-minute calls or assignments located far from your area. I responded in writing requesting clarification and explaining that I remained available and willing to work shifts consistent with the nights and weekends availability I originally provided. Rather than addressing those questions in writing, the company offered a phone call. When I reiterated that I preferred written communication for documentation purposes, I did not receive any further response. For a healthcare staffing agency, the lack of communication, transparency, and professionalism in handling employment matters was disappointing.

I can’t express enough how incredible the team is at United Care. We found ourselves needing round the clock care with very little notice and wow did the team come to the rescue. Everyone in the office is so kind , thoughtful , responsive, accommodating and thorough with their process. I can’t recommend this team enough! And as far as the caregivers go - they may as well have been angels sent to help. Beyond compassionate and so dedicated to their patients. They felt like part of our family - truly. This is a big decision to make but If you are wondering if you have found the right place you have!! Don’t think twice.
