Nursing Homes are not the best place to have a family member be in however the staff at Union County NH were so patient and friendly. Helped me through the whole process.

Staff to patient ratio is the worst I’ve ever seen. Neglected my grandfather with Parkinson’s/dementia to the point where he constantly used the restroom on himself since it would take staff a MINIMUM of a half an hour to get back to him and failed to make sure he didn’t reinjure his hip. He was supposed to be there for a couple weeks to complete physical therapy after his hip replacement surgery and they allowed three separate incidents in which he fell down. The third time resulting in him refracturing his hip and having to go back into surgery on his LAST day there. If you care about your loved ones you’ll let them stay anywhere but here.

The place right now has an outbreak, everyone is sick and not one mask being used. I went Christmas day to visit my mother, she was sick along with everyone else and not 1 face mask. I will not go again without wearing one.

The staff here has been absolutely wonderful in taking care of my sister. Every time I visit, it's always clean, the nurses are patient, kind, respectful and very attentive to the residents, and most importantly, my sister says she feels at home and is happy here. Overall, they get two thumbs up and should get plenty of pats on their backs!
