This is a five star Medicare rated facility. The staff are friendly, efficient and cheerful, cheerful matters to seniors. My husband had a stroke and after a month at Owensboro Hospital he was transferred to the rehab at Twin Rivers for an additional month of rehab rehabilitation from the stroke they worked with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy each day except Sunday and they activities. Director kept them involved in social activities, such as a church volunteer program, singing, hymns, and activities on the porch, including visiting groups for demonstrations and things the place is clean. The needs of the patients are well Matt and many of the Mobile patients have a sort of Fri reign of the place and those who are not Mobile themselves are assisted to get to places they need to go such as the dining hall or the activity area as things go on my husband was provided a La-Z-Boy recliner rather than the hospital bed at her request that’s what he sleeps in at home and it really helped his back and his knees. He’s had both knees operated on in the last two years before his stroke. He improved in all areas in the month that he was there. He’s still not where we need him to be, but he will continue with therapy at home. We are grateful for his time at Twin Rivers. They have a Front Porch and the lobby area where families can go and visit when there’s a roommate involved and the porches nice family place to be.

My mother is here and the staff is the best and it's clean and remodeled. Lots of activities and nice porch for them to go out there and drink coffee. And they do too! Robert will do anything to help and it's been a great experience for our family.

I recently spent about 5-6 weeks at Twin Rivers and I was very pleased with how my experience went. I went there because I had my right leg amputated below the knee and I needed therapy to learn how to deal with this issue. I left there thoroughly pleased with all the aspects of their therapy department. The occupational therapy combined with the physical therapists that worked with me the whole time provided me with the information and knowledge I needed for the new way I was to live my life. They were all very supportive, helpful, and generally good people. The rest of the facility was also helpful in my time of healing and undergoing therapy.

My Father was at Twin Rivers until he passed away! The staff loved him and they cried when he died. I would stop by to visit and they would hold his hand and talk to him. He was just so loved there. I highly recommend this facility.

I couldn't speak more highly of Twin Rivers. Mom spent the last three years of her life there, surrounded by kind, caring, and professional staff members who, to this day, tell me how much they miss her. They always made her feel at home, and since she was a retired nurse, she enjoyed talking shop with them. I was so pleased with the care Mom was given while she was at Twin Rivers.
