I arrived at this facility Around mid April 2026 after four weeks hospitalization for hip replacement surgery and a complicated intestinal disorder. We were very concerned that the nursing care should be up to the task of managing my rather complicated case. I have to say that the staff here have met every expectation that we had for care. The nurses are attentive, thoughtful, and available. One metric that is important to me is the time lapse between sending a request for help And help arriving. I am pleased to say that in 95% of cases a nurse or aide arrived within two or three minutes of having pushed the call button. The PT and OT personnel are highly qualified and very helpful for the important therapy needed to get my mobility back. So far, I have had two outpatient appointments that required to travel to another location. In each case, the staff at this facility arranged for me to have an aide to travel with me and arranged for transportation to the outpatient location. Excellent support. In short, I feel very well cared for here, and I’m grateful for the professionalism of the administrative staff as well as the nursing staff.

Hello this.place is the.pits people fall.and know one comes to.help i.have videos of many accidents in here on my phone, people lay in they Bm for hours,and know.one.comes around to.check for hours,they are a few good GNA and nurses. I have had two room mates that passed away in my room by the time someone comes it's to late,having a heart attack in.here with.knowone.checking on people it be.to late it's terrible know one should put they loves here ,profit before care wish i.had.someone that cares to look at these.videos but I'll save.them until some one that cares come to.see them

I would rate this establishment a minus 10 if possible. This place was recommended to me. Before I chose them I met with the administrator and director. I was lead on what seemed to be a great tour while hearing great news about the place. The building is very old and smell of strong urine. That should have been a red flag, however I choose to continue with the tour. Upon getting to the floor my love one would be stay on. The smell was better and the room was decent. After meeting the physical therapy team i knew that was the place for him. After about a week my love one was having issue with the nurses on his floor. Not coming to assist with his needs for hours at a time. I would call the nurse station only for the phone to constantly ring. I started popping up almost everyday. There would be patients sitting in and roaming the hallways. There was issues with other patients going in my love ones room. The nurses would be crowded around the desk laughing and joking as if there was no job to be done. I had to bathe my love one on several occasions while the nurses were still on duty. My love one had to have a catheter because he wasn't able to get to the restroom on his own. After a few days I noticed the urine in the catheter line was really dark and brought it to the head nurses attention. Asking them to check for any infection. The assured me it would be handled. Few days later my love one is constantly telling them that his stomach was in so much pain. At the same time the head nurse is calling telling me that my love one is faking being sick so he doesn't have to do physical therapy and he's not eating. After talking to my love one I told him I'd be there first thing in the morning. Before I could get up the next morning. The head nurse called at 7am to inform me that my love one vitals were very low and they were advised to put him on IV fluids. I immediately got up and headed there. Im almost an hour away from the place. I get there at 9am. I walked into my love one laying in the bed sweating with a wet towel over his head. There was no IV fluids in sight. The dark urine coming from the catheter was now all blood. Immediately I got the nurse to ask why wasn't the doctor there or why hasn't the ambulance been called. The nurse said she had no clue about what was going on and that she was advised to give him ensure. They would not call the ambulance so I called myself. All while the supervising nurse was laughing saying I was overreacting. The ambulance got there and saw everything going on and asked the supervising nurse what his vitals were. The nurse replied that his blood pressure was 70/54 with a heart rate of 122. They rushed him to the hospital where was admitted for two weeks because the infection was never attended to and spread to his blood. Had i not got there when I did. My love one would not be here today. This place is horrible and the nursing staff has no care or compassion for any of the patients or their jobs. Before I would have sent him back there. I would have just brought him home. I feel sorry for the physical therapy team, they were really awesome but other than that this place is a patients nightmare.

My mother is currently here and I'm looking for better options. Please don't bring your loved ones here. They only provide showers 2 times a week unless your loved ones can shower themselves. I was even denied access to give my mother a shower. Even when I finally gained excess to the showers they were dirty.The nurses are rude and disrespectful. I witnessed multiple nurses verbally abusing the residents here. Social Service admins don't reply to emails or answer calls. I've asked for multiple health reports for my mother and nothing. I've called the director the of the building but still nothing has helped. I'm currently looking for another facility because it's no way possible this place should still be up and running. This building is old and unsanitary.

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience at Kensington Healthcare Center! We couldn’t be happier with our decision and highly recommend this wonderful facility to anyone seeking top-notch care for their loved ones!
