I started looking for an assisted living place for my sister. I look at alot and none of them did I feel good about. But then I met Amy and I had a load taken off my shoulders. All of her staff is awesome. They treated my sister like family. We have our 96 year old aunt who is living there and she gets the best of care. Due to my sisters health we had to move her elsewhere. I will say I am very disappointed in the administration there. They don’t answer your emails and when u go to call them the mailbox is full. So we are so sad that we had to move my sister. Amy was always on top of things and definitely treats her residents like family. Kundos to Amy and Trinity Place.

I cannot say enough good things about Trinity Place ALF. Amy and her entire team are all amazing. My sister was there and unfortunately had to be moved to a skilled nursing facility due to her failing health. Amy went above and beyond by helping us find the right place to relocate my sister, which was so appreciated. My 96 year old Aunt still resides at Trinity Place where she receives excellent care. Our entire family has been more then happy with our entire experience.

I will only share honesty here. I have good and bad to report.<br><br>Trinity place looks beautiful, activities are great, stimulation is pretty good, and the food seemed decent too. Most of the staff seems to care about the residents and were kind to my Nana. Some were very rude to her too but that seems to be normal in this type of place unfortunately. My nana seemed to have made good friends and had a decent quality of life here. She didn’t want to leave, I’ll say that.<br><br>BUT, There were many instances where she was neglected with her care within her year and a half here (before she was kicked out for having “to many falls and not remembering to use her button”… which I will explain more of). She was left in her own waste for many hours and got quite a few UTI’s (which made her cognitive health worse), her room would be filthy often and her hygiene was neglected several times (the only way it was fixed was when I complained). She was even forgotten about for dinner once and had I not showed up she wouldn’t have had dinner at all that night.<br>The podiatrist missed some appointments with my nana so her feet were in pain because of her nails and the staff didn’t check or let me know (even when I asked for updates). When I tried to remedy these issues, the director didn’t even answer me. I had to go to Jamie (wellness director) who is no longer there unfortunately, she was the one I could count on.<br><br>I am really disappointed with the Director Amy (plenty of the staff seemed to be on the same page too). Multiple employees expressed dissatisfaction and they asked me not to tell anyone so all of these people will remain anonymous. Let’s just say it was quite a handful of employees…<br>In my opinion a director of a facility like this should show care for the residents and family, and maybe answer phone calls and emails so things can be adequately addressed and resolved(bare minimum stuff in my opinion).<br><br>Maybe she is better with other folks, but in my experience Amy was very responsive and eager when I moved my nana in and then it was nearly impossible to reach her after that. I tried every avenue too. Email, calls, voicemails, notes at the front desk. She claimed to receive none of it.. and didn’t apologize. Other people apologized for her. Then she anxiously hid on the phone with the speaker on and the new wellness coordinator speaking for her, and that call took place many, many, months after trying to reach her.<br><br>It is rare I leave a bad review, but this had to be shared, if anything for awareness and hopefully positive change. Again, this was my experience. Others may have had better ones. Im not saying she isn’t a good person but I am saying she let me and my nana down.<br><br>Then a month ago I got a call saying they were “discharging” my nana for her needs being “too high”. She fell several times in the night going to the bathroom, but she was supposed to have staff checking on her more frequently. I kept having to pay hundreds of dollars more every few months to up her care level. The actual care didn’t seem to change. So I had 45 days to move her. Amy barely helped the process at all, and didn’t even bother checking in. It seems to me this is just a paycheck for her.<br><br>So I flew down from NY and moved my nana after a frantic few weeks of trying to find a new place for my nana. As I handed over the keys the new Wellness Director said “Its a shame she is leaving now, she’s been doing so well” almost to say she didn’t need to leave after all. Im so disheartened by this experience.<br><br>Now my Nana is at The Waverly and the care seems to be much better so far. We will see though. It’s only the beginning.<br><br>Good luck to you all out there.<br><br>Trinity Place was great in many ways, but simply put no place is perfect and the people that run it should maybe reevaluate some things and aim for better. I get it’s a hard place to work, but improvements could easily be made with a little more attention and care.

Guilty of resident dumping and negligence. Patients are not given proper care and when the patient has to go to the hospital over an injury THE FACILITY CAUSED due to negligence, they refuse the patient. Hopefully this place gets shut down soon. Very wrong how they treat people who can’t speak up for themselves
