The smell of it is not of disinfectant but old house old people. The person I visited had a fecal mess in her trash can in the bathroom that stunk up her room worse than an outhouse. Made my eyes water. Couldn't take the smell anymore so I took the trash bag to the nurses station for disposal and a new bag. They acted like I was bothering them to accommodate me. Would not recommend this place for a loved one.

My grandmother in law has been here for over a decade and turns 95 years old this coming September.<br><br>The staff I’ve encountered are all friendly and kind.<br><br>The property itself has old character and charm, but inside and out is in need of updates and maintenance.<br><br>This is a county home that’s changed names a few times since our family member has been in here.<br><br>It simply is what you except for a retirement home, the good and the bad that is.

Transitions Healthcare Allens Cove<br>Staff was unpleasant! If you work in a setting where you are to be helping people, then you should help them. For a person to go there seeking for help just to be mistreated, ignored and constantly being made to wait for hours before someone actually does something is not very professional, also having little to no bedside manner on top of it! If you work in this setting and simply just go for a paycheck, find a different profession! This place was completely awful for my mother, she would call me daily crying from being in pain and no one was giving her medicine. They would completely ignore her calls, she was supposed to be there for therapy, which didn’t even really happen. I’m definitely glad she is out of there!

TRASH if I could give zero I would I have a client in here last year and they let my girl sit there and because non mobile they never did her PT they don’t interact with yall family members they just o it them in a a room and turn on lassie . And play bingo I got screamed at by a higher up for being on my phone because I thought I was one of his employees. Don’t send your loved ones here .! The inside of the place is drab and depressing and smells like poop and pee they don’t bath my client stunk I was unable to bath her . Just terrible!
