My mom has been a resident at Tranquil Living (now Living Tranquil) for the past year. We moved her here from another facility after hearing about them from families of other residents who praised them. My mom has Alzheimer's and is in her final days. I feel the need to share now how wonderful this place is. The compassion and caring at this facility has been UNMATCHED! Jane, the owner and director, is amazing! Her patience and attention to each individual resident and their family is unwavering. She takes care to hire the best staff sharing in her extraordinary gift as a caregiver. Special mention...my mom has been unable to eat solid foods for the past 5 months due to aspiration risk. Marianne, one of the caregivers, also cooks a lot of the delicious house meals and has gone above and beyond cooking specially prepared pureed food allowing my mom too eat the foods she loves. And she began preparing these meals without ever being asked to do so. Now that my mom is in her final days, Jane has made it her mission, as always, to make sure she is comfortable and well taken care of. And she has been a lifeline for us as a family assisting us in this transition. If you are considering Tranquil Living for your loved one, do not hesitate.
