I had a great experience at Tonganoxie Terrace! Dallas was amazing and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. He was friendly, helpful, and made the whole process easy. You can tell he genuinely cares about the residents and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of.

I placed my mother Patricia there for 24 days. It was for respite care for my family. I called almost every day while we were gone. They were very pleasant when I called to check on her. She said she liked it there. I would not hesitate to use them again.

If I could give Tonganoxie terrace 20 stars I would. I just spent some very pleasant time there,if you need rehab this in my opinion is the only place to go. Teresa D is one of the staff, she is like a honey bee going around going around touching everything helping with anything needed and as sweet as sugar. Kelly runs the kitchen and I didn't have a bad meal the entire time I was there,the food was great and served on time every meal. Im sorry I have forgotten the administers name but what a sweet lady and she runs a great organization (thank you so much). My night nurse Eric was phenomenal, what a professional man and so present and helpful. I know I am missing someone I should mention but everyone was so good to me I can't say enough good about the staff. If I ever need rehab again it will be at Tonganoxie terrace. Thank you all for a pleasant experience. David

I recently stayed at Tonganoxie nursing center after a hospital stay for pneumonia and needed OT and PT as well as skilled nursing care. All of the staff nursing, housekeeping, dietary, administrative, activities, therapy, maintenance and if I left any department out you are included in this review. All staff were very caring, friendly, and attentive to my needs. My call light was always answered in a timely manner and my requests were met. One of the staff took me outside for half an hour to enjoy the wonderful weather on a Saturday when we had nice weather. The food was good. Once I got my appetite back I really enjoyed the meals. My room was kept clean and always had plenty of toiletry supplies. Nursing made sure all my medical and ADL needs were met. All the staff always had a smile on their face and when you are sick that means a lot. If I have any future needs to receive care in a skilled nursing facility it will be Tonganoxie nursing center. I cannot say enough good things about the facility. Everyone was awesome and I thank all of you from the bottom of my ❤️. God bless all of you!!!
