The Villas At Wilmot, Villa C

The Villas at Wilmot is an assisted living and memory care community located in Tucson, Arizona, 20 miles south of the city. The neighborhood comprises multiple residential homes, each a 6,000 square foot facility with 10 private suites featuring individual heating and cooling systems, designed to provide a home-like setting for seniors requiring assistance with daily living.

The community offers all levels of assisted living care as well as specialized memory care for residents with Alzheimer's disease or dementia. Staffing includes caregivers trained in specialized communication techniques, emergency planning, infection control, and memory care, with most holding Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Caregiver certification from the state of Arizona. The facility maintains a 1:5 caregiver-to-resident ratio from 7am to 7pm and a 1:10 ratio with an auxiliary caregiver from 7pm to 7am, with an on-site care specialist providing personalized attention. Short-term respite care and hospice care in residents' homes are also available.

Each villa includes private rooms designated for specific services, such as a salon and physical therapy room, allowing doctors, therapists, and stylists to provide specialized support on-site. The community is locally owned and managed by Bobby Larson and Klaus Axen, distinguishing it from larger corporate-owned facilities.

An activity coordinator plans and supervises both group and one-on-one activities tailored to residents' physical and mental stimulation needs, including holiday parties, cook-outs, sing-a-longs, and exercise classes such as Zumba.
