My mom spent close to five years at Alma’s Home Care and during that time the caregivers became like family to us. My mom was always up, dressed nicely and interacting with others as best she could. Safety and nutrition were important to the staff. I visited weekly and I never had any concerns that she was not being cared for in a loving and caring manner.

We will always be grateful to God for the love & care that my Mama received at Alma's Care Home. Due to circumstances beyond our control, it became necessary to find a place for her. My husband was given a list of Adult Care Homes in town, and he chose 3 to visit. He was quite impressed with Alma's in that it had a homier atmosphere, and the other places were too sterile and impersonal. It also helped that Spanish was spoken. This was his top choice. Alma, Tony and their care giving staff are the BEST! Whenever I had a question or concern, I would call and get a timely response. Love & patience is demonstrated on a daily basis. I would recommend them highly. No matter where your loved one is, it is important to advocate for them and visit often, as it is very difficult for them to adjust to their new surroundings. I have learned a lot through this journey with my Mama. During the 2 1/2 years she was at Alma's, she showed lots of strength & resilience. I plan to keep in touch with Alma and her staff as they have a special place in my heart. I dearly thank them!<br>Jennifer Verdugo

My mom came to Alma's per the recommendation of friends. I have never been so grateful for a recommendation! Alma and all of her staff treated my Mom with the dignity and respect all older adults deserve. She ate better than she had in years with every aspect of her nutritional health carefully monitored. She enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the birds and the trees or chatting with one of the staff. Alma and her staff are also great with families, so much so that I went on trips from time to time knowing that Mom was in such good hands. When it was my Mom's time to pass Alma was there for Mom and the family helping us through; I am so appreciative and remain in touch with Alma as she was such an integral part of my Mom's last year of life.

Alma, son Tony and all of the caregivers provided my sister in law and my husband’s sister with consistent, patient, loving care. There was always a welcoming greeting whether you were visiting or calling. We were always kept up to date about her condition and care. Alma’s Home feels like you’re home away from home. During the last weeks of our loved one’s life, Alma arranged hospice caregivers to provide special attention and comfort. We had peace of mind that she was in the best place possible. Thank you to everyone at Alma’s, especially Alma who became a friend and to Tony, who Sis thought of as the Best of the Best.

The kindness, caring and compassion of Alma's House is amazing. Each time I visited, I was met with a smile, and a lovely greeting. I knew that my dear friend was well taken care of. The house is lovely, the gardens/patio is beautiful and I know enjoyed by staff and guests who reside there. A peaceful and happy space. Nutritious food, spotless and with a team of incredible love.
