My mother lived at Villages of Clinton for 5 years until she recently passed. Her experience (covid lockdown aside) was positive one. She made good friends and the building served her purpose. Her end unit was great with extra room and windows and well maintained. Items in her unit needing repair were addressed quickly by the property maintenance man and Kristie the property manager.Hallway carpets get vacuumed regularly, shopping carts in stairwells are very helpful to transport groceries and other items to units. Exterior doors always remained locked which is great and the locked mail room works well. I have heard the lobby is getting a much needed overhaul and hallways repainted. The only reason I give this place 4 stars is no lack of Kristie's, but the the property management company. The building exterior lacks maintenance. Exterior doors and elevator are not always working (I am there when this happens) and take a bit longer to repair than should. Exterior windows were never cleaned in 5 years especially after their construction directly next door of their new building. The landscape in the back courtyard needs an overhaul and refreshed. The fitness room definitely needs an facelift. I used it when visiting for yoga, and it needs to get happy facelift in there. Maybe brighter paint and some new equipment? Other than that. I would live here at Villages!
