The care here is abysmal. My grandmother was allowed to fall numerous times, was left with food in her mouth, it was difficult to find a nurse when you needed one. I even had other patients asking me for help due to the low-rent nurses being absent. You pay outrageously for the building because the same care could be received at any of the much cheaper facilities. I hope that this place gets shut-down, my grandmother deserved better, and so does yours.

Wonderful caring staff, happy residents, beautiful facility, great entertainment today and great coordination between a smiling staff who show in everything they do that the residents are taken care of in a very special way. The residents also say the food is great every day. Thank you Harrison

The Harrison has GOT to start focusing on activities. With every department that they have, activities is probably the main area they need to start putting more energy and money towards. No people are going to join their facility if the only interesting thing they are doing is bingo. Much respect to the company, but no resident is going to call their family about exercising and bingo, yet I can imagine more people will be excited about more movie nights, outings, and special activities made for them. There is absolutely no decorations either. Allow residents to suggest ideas that they would like to do. If you need more residents, DO MORE ACTIVITES. PLEASE.

I would NOT recommend putting your loved one here. HIGH turn over rate, Directors come and go and Corporate prioritizes profits over the well being of its residents often felt like the residents are just number rather than individuals. The staff that do stay are over worked and under supported which impacts the quality of care of the residents .Communication with Corporate is minimal leaving families in the dark about changes. It’s disheartening to see that the corporate entity seems more interested in financial bottom lines than ensuring a dignified living experience for the residents. The lack of genuine concern is UNACCEPTABLE

It is so scary to try to find a great place for your loved one. I had to find a new memory care for my aunt who had a stroke, and it affected her mobility. Her other memory care could no longer take care of her. (be careful of that when you are looking for places) I am so thankful we could Harbor Chase. I have been a nurse for over 20 years. I can see how great they are here. I have very high standards for my family member. They have exceeded those. Her room is always so clean, and she is always very clean. Her memory has even been better since being there. Her neurologist said being in a calm, safe environment can be one of the best things for someone with dementia. He even noticed the difference in her. They do lots of activities and the staff is very nice to her. She said they are so much nicer than where she was at. (which we thought they were good) I honestly thank God all the time that we found HarborChase. I can be ok knowing my loved one is being so well cared for.
