My dad has been at the Springs of Pinnacle Mountain for almost 3 months now and I couldn't be happier. He also likes it. The staff is so kind and very dedicated. Each one knows my name as well as my dad and they reach out regularly to make sure we're happy. My dad is so well taken care of. When he came, he had a bad wound on his leg and they have gone above and beyond to treat it, making appointments for specialists, getting him a special bed. And it's made a big difference. He loves his physical therapy and speech therapy. And the therapists are really on the ball! The CNAs are very prompt responding to call lights and always cheerful. The nurses treat dad with respect and he likes joking around with them. My mother had been in a facility in Maumelle (not Springs) and I had such a hard time keeping her personal items from being stolen. I've never had any issues at Pinnacle. Each and every item dad brought is exactly where it should be and I have no worries about someone taking anything. The food is pretty good too. and if my dad doesn't like what is being served he can choose to have a hamburger or grilled cheese. They also have transportation to and from appointments. Since dad is wheelchair-bound, this is ideal for me. They leave in plenty of time to get to appointments and we've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a pick up once we're done. And it's so easy to schedule transportation too. Dad is pretty much a loner, so he's in a private room which doesn't cost too much more than a shared room. Which brings me to the recreation person who reached out to me to find out what kind of things would get dad more involved in the social life there. They have everything from bible study to outings to the store. All in all, I am very pleased with every aspect of Pinnacle. From administration to billing to Xavier the maintenance man to nursing and therapy. With an extra special shout out to the CNAs who make that place shine!

I regularly saw staff stopping what they were doing to listen to and talk to residents. This seems like such a small matter, but human dignity is one of the most important things we can give time and attention to. Big kudos to you all.
