Great diner experience - good food, fair prices, great service! So few restaurants in the area seem to make it long term...sure hope this place makes it, so I try to stop in whenever I can. Keep up the good work!!

Hungry and on a budget??? Head over to Sylvan Shores Diner, breakfast is my favorite with many grandmothers famous dishes. Eggs anyway you want, delicious pancakes, endless cups of coffee by an efficient wait staff, bacon, and sausage. My go to is the meat lovers skillet with a side of biscuits and gravy!! Can't wait to get back there to dive into one of those great meals. Bright blue building just south of the Sylvan lake in Rome City IN.

Best breakfast or lunch spot in the area. Customer service is outstanding and food is great. It's also very reasonably priced. This is a must stop for our friends from out of town when they are visiting.

I enjoy coming there for breakfast. The staff are great people. This morning I came in(may 21st2025. I had ordered a breakfast, and to the table behind me a group of old men setting there belittling the younger generation saying they don't know what work is never got there hands dirty. Then they put the description out there ... Long hair and beards not worth a crap. Well I got long hair and a beard, so I said something to them. And then they want to play it off. He ain't talking about you. It's sad that the people we are supposed to look up to are so disrespectful of others. I've enjoyed my breakfasts that I have and my lunches. I think it is wrong to judge people and for the establishment to allow this is wrong. That group of men should have been asked to leave or have respect for other people. I don't know if I will ever eat in there again. I don't think I am wrong for posting this. If we are to respect our elders shouldn't they have respect for us to. I have worked hard my whole life and struggled to raise my family. And to set back and be disrespected by the the people were supposed to have respect for. I have respect for people who have respect for others and this group of older men have no respect for anyone not even themselves
